Hi Jake and Josh, I just wanted to give you an update of how the puppy is doing! He is so sweet, and cuddly. He loves his toys, and he runs around my house doing zoomies with Ziggy. It took him and Ziggy a few weeks to get used to each other and for the puppy to come out of his shell, but his full personality is showing and he’s the cutest thing. He’s growing well and his color is beautiful. I had him on puppy food and he doesn’t like it. He likes Ziggy’s adult food better, so I am trying to figure out how to get him to eat puppy food. His name is Zeke by the way. I attached a current photo of him for you

I wanted to send you a current photo of our sweet boy, Chalupa Batman. He’s growing at a healthy rate and just finished his final set of shots. He’s doing really well on potty training, uses the stairs, plays for hours, and loves to as we would say, fly like a squirrel! Here’s a video of yesterday and a current photo. We love him so much and he has turned out to be a really good puppy. Thank you so much!! Thank you

Good Morning, Jake, We just got back from the vet…Dr. Garberson…who said he is in excellent health! So thankful…and grateful to you for raising such an excellent puppy. He is a ball of energy…amazing! So much fun…oh to have that energy again! And thank you for the tip to not ‘answer him’ when he whines and barks… Love this little guy…who I think the name will be Garbie (after Dr. Garberson)… Tyler doesn’t seem to fit him (wanted to name him after your road). THANK YOU so very very much for your kindness and for all of your help and encouragement and understanding! He’s a keeper!!! Much joy,

Good evening, My name is Ben T, and I just wanted to reach out to you guys to thank you again for the wonderful dog we adopted from you six years ago. My wife and I reached out in 2019, shortly after losing our elderly dog looking to adopt. We had our eyes set on a little cream colored female and drove all the way up from Santa Rosa to see her, and left with her that day and named her Lemon. I reached out a few years back with an update, but forgot to provide photos since our life was a little hectic at the time so I wanted to take the time to make sure I reached out again. We purchased a house and moved back to Maine, my home state, in 2021 so now we live in Caribou up near the Canadian border. She’s adjusted to the winters and the colder weather really well, and she loves playing in the snow. To the point we need to pick her up to get her inside sometimes on the days we have negative temperatures. She loves sticking her face in the snow to sniff and try to track the small critters that might be scurrying around there, and chasing snowballs. She’s an absolute goofball and a complete joy to have around. My family up here loved her instantly, to the point where my cousins thought my uncle was going to get a dachshund of his own because of how much he loves Lemon, haha. She is the absolute best dog I could have asked for, and has helped me through some extremely difficult times. After a stressful day at work, or a hard day of dealing with chores, she immediately cheers us up by crawling into our lap. She lives for affection and cuddles, and seems content to sleep wherever we are at so long as she is near us. We could not be happier, she really is the perfect dog for our home. I’ve attached some photos of her this time. Thank you again, Ben T

We are at the coast again. Oliver is the hit of the entire town. Oh my, he gets compliments at every step. He takes it all in stride. So adorable. We met some super people that are at the RV park we are in. They are from San Diego. They have two small dogs that are so well cared for. They just spread the ashes of their long haired dachshund recently. They did scent work together. Very nice people. I showed them your website and they were so impressed with your breeding stock. They said they are looking for another long hair. If they contact you, I could say they seem to be very lovely people. I told them to tell you they met Oliver. Actually, he wasn’t out the door of our rig and they were coming across the street to meet him. He made you proud, as he was calm and so polite to their dogs. Jake, he is not a normal dog. Much more human than dog. Just wanted to let you know. We tell everyone about your beautiful dogs, but, not everyone is ready to expand their family. I think you may hear from them. Thanks!!!!!

Hello Jake and Josh! Baxter had his 3rd birthday last Saturday and I thought I’d send you a current picture. He is the dearest little guy and much loved. We don’t have another dachshund to compare too but if they are all as loving and comical as he is it’s no wonder they’re so popular – and that the puppies from a wonderful breeding program like yours go so quickly to good homes! Baxter thinks humans are belly rub vending machines, his favorite treat is honeydew melon, he loves his toys and his family – including the new rescue kitties – and, thankfully, he’s very healthy. We’re very grateful Happy Spring!
